Areas of Focus
I specialize in providing individualized counselling and consulting to address a wide range of concerns. It’s important to recognize that different methods work for different people, and finding what works best for you might take some trial and error. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, or navigating life transitions, I am here to help. If you have any questions about my areas of focus, please connect with me.
ADHD

Do you often find it difficult to sit still, stay focused, or follow through on tasks? Perhaps you notice yourself fidgeting, feeling easily distracted, becoming overwhelmed, or putting things off even when they are important to you. ADHD support focuses on understanding how ADHD shows up in your daily life and developing practical, personalized strategies to navigate challenges with attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, organization, emotional regulation, and motivation.
Sex Therapy - Sexual Health - Intimacy

Sexual health counselling is a specialized form of therapy that focuses on concerns related to sexual health, intimacy, and overall well-being. I work collaboratively with you to explore areas such as sexual history, sexuality, gender, desire, relationships, and the emotional or psychological factors that may impact your sexual well-being. Some of the concerns I support include sexual functioning, changes in desire, intimacy challenges, relationship stressors, sexual confidence, and emotional or psychological concerns related to sex.
Anger Management & Conflict

Anger management and conflict counselling focuses on understanding the emotions, patterns, and experiences that can contribute to anger and interpersonal conflict. This may include exploring triggers, communication patterns, emotional regulation, and the ways stress or past experiences influence how we respond in difficult moments. Some of the concerns I work with include managing intense emotions, recurring conflict, communication challenges, relationship stressors, and developing healthier ways to express needs, set boundaries, and navigate disagreements.
Coaching

Coaching is a collaborative and goal-focused process designed to support personal and professional growth at every stage. Whether you are a senior executive navigating complex leadership demands, an emerging leader stepping into a new role, or someone at the beginning of your career, coaching can provide space to clarify goals, strengthen confidence, and move forward with intention. Some of the areas I work with include leadership development, executive presence, workplace challenges, career transitions, communication, decision-making, managing competing demands, and navigating growth and change.
Personal and Workplace Stress

Workplace and personal stress counselling focuses on understanding the pressures, demands, and experiences that can impact your well-being both at work and in everyday life. This may include exploring burnout, competing responsibilities, difficult workplace dynamics, caregiving demands, boundaries, and the emotional impact of ongoing stress. Some of the concerns we work with include work-life balance, career pressures, workplace conflict, overwhelm, perfectionism, major life changes, and developing sustainable ways to cope, set boundaries, and navigate challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
Depression

Depression counselling focuses on understanding the emotional, psychological, and life experiences that can contribute to feeling low, disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck. This may include exploring patterns of thinking, relationships, stress, loss, identity, and past experiences that may be impacting your well-being. Some of the concerns I work with include low mood, loss of motivation, isolation, hopelessness, difficulty experiencing joy, changes in self-esteem, and developing meaningful ways to reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater support and clarity.
Grief & Loss

Grief and loss counselling focuses on supporting you through the emotional, psychological, and life changes that can follow significant loss. This may include the death of a loved one, changes in relationships, health, identity, caregiving roles, employment, or other meaningful transitions. Some of the concerns I work with include sadness, anger, guilt, loneliness, anticipatory grief, complicated emotions, changes in identity, and finding ways to honour what has been lost while adjusting to life moving forward.
Anxiety

Anxiety counselling focuses on understanding the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that can contribute to persistent worry, fear, overwhelm, or feeling on edge. This may include exploring patterns of overthinking, uncertainty, perfectionism, relationships, stress, and past experiences that may be impacting your well-being. Some of the concerns I work with include excessive worry, racing thoughts, panic, social anxiety, difficulty relaxing, avoidance, people-pleasing, and developing practical ways to feel more grounded, confident, and able to navigate life with greater ease.
Trauma

Trauma counselling focuses on understanding how difficult, overwhelming, or distressing experiences, including vicarious trauma, can impact your emotions, relationships, sense of safety, and overall well-being. This may include exploring past or recent experiences at a pace that feels manageable, while building on existing strengths and developing supportive ways to cope. Some of the concerns I work with include emotional overwhelm, avoidance, feeling disconnected, difficulty trusting, relationship challenges, persistent fear or anxiety, and working toward greater safety, understanding, and healing.
